Company Diversa, until recently Akwa-Rynkar, has been operating on the market of aquarium products for 30 years. Last year was marked by significant changes: a new legal form along with a new name was introduced. The history of the company dates back to 1979. You are welcome to learn more about our company!
The 1st decade or the humble beginnings
(from 1979 until 1989)
The founders of the company - Teresa and Leszek Rynkar – are Polish pioneers of the aquarium production technique where the walls are connected by means of silicone. The first seat of the company was established as a result of adaptation of utility rooms belonging to the owners’ family and the production process was performed almost fully in hand. First recipients, located in Upper Silesia, the region of Opole and in Kraków, were delivered products with the only means of transport available, that is a passenger car with a trailer. The company’s then-assortment included only several kinds of small containers for turtles and fish.
The 2nd decade or the chance taken
(from 1990 until 2000)
The beginning of the system transformation period in Poland turned out to be a breakthrough for the activity of the company, giving it a chance for dynamical development. In 1990 the activity was moved to a new premises measuring 220m2, but as soon as 5 years later the company had the space of 700m2 at its disposal. The product offer was extended with larger aquaria of more sophisticated shapes. A new division was launched, dealing with the production of aquarium lightning, the transportation base was extended and the first foreign contractors were acquired.
The 3rd decade or the development and modernization
(from 2001 until today)
New millennium – new challenges The company came to own next production and warehouse facilities, which increased its area to 4000m2. In 2002 production of bent glass and a carpentry division were launched. In 2004, continuing the family tradition, the second generation got involved into the activity of the company. For two years the company has had a laboratory, where products are thoroughly inspected for their safety and functionality.
Currently our offer includes over 2000 products. Half of our production is dedicated for export to countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, Slovakia, Lithuania, Hungary, Cyprus or Malta. Thanks to the application of modern technologies and employing 70 competent workers, we achieve the most important objective guaranteeing customer’s satisfaction: a product that is functional, economical and made on time.
